About Vincent (Vince) Gil
My Background
I'm a Christian, a Sexual Scientist, also a clergyperson with a passion for truth and helping people. My PhD is in Medical and Psychological Anthropology (UCLA), followed by two postdocs, in Clinical Sexual Sciences and in Public Health/Sexual Diseases. All this, after theological education in the evangelical Christian tradition.
The Experience
I've been a professor and taught Human Sexuality for decades; thus an academic. I'm also a sexuality counselor, trainer, researcher, a clergyperson, and a writer. From these expertise come not only a caring spirit, but a goal to pass on understandings that will help persons and organizations.
The Results
I'm a speaker, trainer, do workshops on sexual and gender topics for public and nonprofit organizations. My publications, blog, and the page here on Faith and Sex Science can help in reconciling scientific knowledge and theology. Faith and science aren't enemies. My goal is to help you, or your organization, find a more complete, unified understanding of God's good gift of sexuality.
